Ingredients

For the Cauliflower
  • 1 head cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
For the Buffalo Sauce
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Large bowl
  • Baking sheet

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret first into the egg, then into the flour mixture, ensuring it is fully coated. Place coated florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While the cauliflower is cooking, prepare the buffalo sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the hot sauce, melted butter, white vinegar, and garlic powder.
  7. Once the cauliflower is cooked, transfer it to a clean bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the cauliflower and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese dressing.
