Ingredients
  

For the Frappuccino
  • 1 heaping cup crushed ice or cubed ice
  • 1.5 cup vanilla ice cream good quality
  • 2 fl oz espresso double shot, fresh
For the Sweetener
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp white chocolate powder Ghirardelli brand
For Garnish
  • caramel sauce Torani brand
  • whipped cream for topping

Method
 

  1. If you do not have an espresso machine, mix 2 teaspoons of espresso powder with 2 oz of boiling water. Pour a double shot of fresh espresso (about 2 fl oz) over the granulated sugar and white chocolate powder in a mug and mix well.
  2. Add the crushed ice and vanilla ice cream to a blender.
  3. Pour the sweetened espresso mixture into the blender.
  4. Blend on high speed for 20-30 seconds, or until the ice is finely blended.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce on the sides of your serving cup. Pour the blended frappe into the cup.
  6. Top with whipped cream and an extra drizzle of caramel sauce.

Notes

For best results, use crushed ice as it blends faster and keeps the mixture colder. Drizzling caramel sauce inside the cup before pouring the frappe enhances the flavor and presentation. If you don't have whipped cream, a homemade chatilly cream can be used as a substitute.
