Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed until smooth
  • 75 g butter melted
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 to taste salt
  • 185 g all-purpose flour
  • 85 g mini chocolate chips divided

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add the melted butter and stir until well combined.
  3. Add the sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda, salt, and flour. Stir until the batter is smooth.
  4. Stir in half of the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and top with the remaining chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

This banana bread is best enjoyed after it has cooled completely, allowing the flavors to meld and the texture to set.
