Ingredients
  

For the Toast
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh basil chopped, optional

Equipment

  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. Spread the cottage cheese evenly over the toasted bread.
  3. Arrange the tomato slices on top of the cottage cheese.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to your taste.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil, if using.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can add other toppings like avocado, red pepper flakes, or a drizzle of olive oil.
