- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, until mushrooms are tender.
- Pour in the beef broth, sour cream, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
- Stir in the Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef. For a richer sauce, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
