Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, and grated ginger (if using). Set aside.
- Place the broccoli florets on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the other side of the baking sheet. Drizzle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Pour the honey garlic sauce evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions before serving if desired.
