Prep Time 10 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings: 6 servings
Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon cubed and frozen
  • 1/4 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup optional, adjust to taste

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Freezer-safe container

Method

  1. Place the frozen watermelon cubes, lime juice, and optional sweetener in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, like soft-serve ice cream. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides a few times.
  3. Serve immediately for a soft sorbet consistency, or transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 1-2 hours for a firmer sorbet.

Notes

If the sorbet is too hard after freezing, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before serving.
