- Add butter and garlic to a large pan. Melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in mushrooms and herbs (or Italian seasoning). Sauté over medium heat 5-7 minutes until garlic is fragrant and mushrooms are browned and very tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Top with additional herbs if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes
If you used salted butter, you may not need extra salt. Taste and adjust as needed. Herbs de Provence is a great substitute for fresh herbs or Italian seasoning.
