Method
- Place the popped popcorn in a large microwave-safe bowl.
- Add the mini marshmallows and butter to the bowl with the popcorn.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir well with a spatula. Microwave for another 30 seconds, or until marshmallows are melted and mixture is combined. Stir until everything is coated.
- Grease your hands lightly with butter or cooking spray. Shape the popcorn mixture into 12 small cups or bowls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Melt the white candy melts according to package directions. You can do this in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, or in a double boiler.
- Drizzle the melted candy over the popcorn cups to create a ghost-like appearance. Immediately place two candy eye balls onto the melted candy before it sets.
- Let the Ghost Popcorn Cups cool completely at room temperature for about 15 minutes, or until the candy coating is firm.
