Total Time 20 minutes
Servings: 4 ears
Course: Side Dish
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

For the Corn
  • 4 ears of corn in husks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Tongs

Method

  1. Soak the corn in water for at least 15 minutes. This helps the husks steam the corn.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Remove the silks from the corn, but leave the husks on. Drizzle the corn with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Grill for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kernels are tender and slightly charred.
  5. Carefully remove the corn from the grill. Let it cool slightly before shucking the husks.
  6. Serve the grilled corn hot.

Notes

You can add butter, chili powder, or lime juice after grilling for extra flavor.
