Ingredients

Purple Smoothie Base
  • 1/2 cup orange juice more if it's too thick
  • 2 medium bananas frozen, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
Toppings
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup blackberries
  • 1 cup kiwi slices
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Ziplock bag
  • Sharp knife or toothpick

Method

  1. Add orange juice, frozen banana pieces, and frozen blueberries to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more orange juice as needed to reach desired consistency.
  2. Spoon the smoothie mixture into bowls. Place the Greek yogurt into a small ziplock bag and cut a very small piece off the corner.
  3. Create a small circle with the yogurt in the middle of the smoothie bowl. Make three more circles around the first circle. Using a sharp knife or toothpick, draw lines from the smallest circle outward towards the biggest circle to create a web pattern.
  4. Arrange the remaining toppings in a half-circle pattern on one side of the bowl. Serve immediately.
