- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In the prepared baking dish, combine the croissant pieces, diced ham, and 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissant mixture in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and the center is set.
- Let the casserole stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can add other ingredients like cooked bacon, sausage, or vegetables such as spinach or bell peppers. For a richer flavor, you can use a mix of cheeses.
