  • 1/2 cup Nutella
For the Coating
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Open the biscuits. Press or roll each biscuit flat. Place about 1 tablespoon of Nutella in the center of each flattened biscuit. Pinch the ends up to seal the Nutella inside, then roll the biscuit to form a ball.
  3. Place the sealed biscuit balls on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 17-22 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the biscuits are cooked through.
  4. While the churro bites are baking, prepare the coating. Place the melted butter in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  5. Once the churro bites are out of the oven, let them cool slightly. Roll each warm churro bite first in the melted butter, then immediately roll it in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  6. Serve the churro bites warm or at room temperature. Store any leftovers loosely covered at room temperature for up to 2 days.
