- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Warm the large tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
- Lay a large tortilla flat. On one half of the tortilla, layer the ingredients: start with a small tortilla, then add ground beef, cheese, crushed tortilla chips, sour cream, salsa, and lettuce.
- Fold the other half of the large tortilla over the filling to create a half-moon shape.
- Heat a lightly oiled skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the crunchwrap seam-side down and cook for 3-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
Notes
You can customize your crunchwrap with other fillings like beans, corn, or different cheeses.
