- Make the brown sugar syrup: Combine brown sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let it cool completely.
- Brew your espresso and let it cool slightly.
- Fill a jar or cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the cooled espresso and brown sugar syrup to the shaker.
- Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
- Pour the oat milk into your serving glass.
- Strain the shaken espresso mixture into the glass over the oat milk.
- If desired, dust with cinnamon.
