- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring, until the sauce has thickened slightly and coats the beef.
- Divide the cooked rice among four bowls. Top with the Korean beef mixture.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
Notes
This recipe is easily customizable. You can add vegetables like broccoli or carrots to the stir-fry.
