Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in heavy cream, pesto, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.

Notes

You can serve this with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
