- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium. Stir in heavy cream, pesto, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot.
