- Bring 1 cup water, sugar, and ginger to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat. Stir until sugar is just dissolved, about 1 minute. Add tea bags to the saucepan, and remove from heat. Let steep, covered, for 10 minutes.
- Remove and discard the tea bags and ginger.
- Stir together the lemonade, rum, lime juice, orange liqueur, and tea mixture in a large pitcher until combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve over ice. Top each drink with 1/4 cup sparkling water. Garnish with orange wheels and cherries.
