One-Pan Thanksgiving Drinks (Minimal Cleanup)

Ingredients
  

For the Tea Mixture
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 inch fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 single-serving hibiscus tea bags
For the Punch
  • 2 cups refrigerated lemonade such as Simply Lemonade
  • 1 1/2 cups gold rum 12 oz.
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice from 7 medium limes
  • 1/3 cup orange liqueur 2 2/3 oz., such as Grand Marnier
For Serving
  • 2 1/2 cups sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup sparkling water per drink
  • 1 orange wheels for garnish
  • 1 cherries for garnish
  • 1 ice

Method
 

  1. Bring 1 cup water, sugar, and ginger to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat. Stir until sugar is just dissolved, about 1 minute. Add tea bags to the saucepan, and remove from heat. Let steep, covered, for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove and discard the tea bags and ginger.
  3. Stir together the lemonade, rum, lime juice, orange liqueur, and tea mixture in a large pitcher until combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. Serve over ice. Top each drink with 1/4 cup sparkling water. Garnish with orange wheels and cherries.
