Peach Crisp Overnight Oats

Enjoy the flavors of peach crisp in your overnight oats. This recipe is simple and requires no cooking.

Ingredients
  

For the Oats
  • 1/2 cup Rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt plain
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup or other sweetener
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
For the Peaches
  • 1/2 cup Peach diced, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
Optional Toppings
  • 1 tbsp Granola
  • 1 tbsp Chopped pecans

Equipment

  • Jar or container with lid
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Method
 

  1. In a jar or container, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well to combine.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix the diced peaches with lemon juice and brown sugar.
  3. Pour the peach mixture over the oat mixture in the jar. Stir gently.
  4. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
  5. In the morning, stir the oats. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash more milk. Top with granola and chopped pecans, if desired.

Notes

You can adjust the sweetness to your preference. If using frozen peaches, you may not need to thaw them completely before mixing.
