  • 1.5 tsp. kosher salt
  • 0.5 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2.5 oz. Parmesan cheese shredded (about 2/3 cup)
  • 2 slices bacon cooked and chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F. In a large bowl, combine the trimmed green beans, minced garlic, olive oil, kosher salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together until the green beans are evenly coated.
  2. Spread the coated green beans in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the green beans are tender. Stir them halfway through the baking time.
  4. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the green beans evenly with the shredded Parmesan cheese. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for about 1 more minute, until the Parmesan cheese has melted.
  5. Take the green beans out of the oven. Sprinkle the chopped cooked bacon over the top. Serve immediately.
