- Gather your ingredients. Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees F (180 degrees C) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Italian seasoning, poultry seasoning, paprika, and salt.
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Brush the spice mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get some under the wings.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down. Cook for 45 minutes without moving it.
- Carefully flip the chicken over using tongs. Continue cooking until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh reads 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), which should take about 20 more minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer to a cutting board and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
