Turkey and Crunchy Veggie Wraps

Ingredients
  

For the Wraps
  • 2 whole wheat tortillas
  • 4 slices deli turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons hummus
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced bell pepper any color

Equipment

  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of hummus evenly over each tortilla.
  3. Layer the turkey slices over the hummus.
  4. Top the turkey with shredded lettuce, shredded carrots, cucumber slices, and bell pepper slices.
  5. Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then tightly roll them up from the bottom.
  6. Slice the wraps in half if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

You can add other vegetables like spinach or red onion. For a different flavor, try mustard or a light vinaigrette instead of hummus.
